CURTISS-WRIGHT TO CELEBRATE 90TH ANNIVERSARY OF LISTING ON THE NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE

DAVIDSON, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Curtiss-Wright Corporation (NYSE: CW) will commemorate the 90th anniversary of its listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) by ringing The Closing Bell® on Friday, August 23 at 4:00 p.m. EDT. The Company began trading on the NYSE on August 22, 1929.

In recognition of this milestone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer David C. Adams will ring the NYSE Closing Bell®, accompanied by members of the leadership team, executives and guests.

“We are honored to be the 56th longest continuously listed company on the New York Stock Exchange and excited to celebrate our rich and distinctive history by ringing The Closing Bell®,” said Adams.

Curtiss-Wright‘s legacy of innovation began with the earliest pioneers of the aviation industry. As a result of their successes, Curtiss-Wright was formed on July 5, 1929, by the merger of companies founded by Glenn Curtiss, the father of naval aviation, and the Wright brothers, renowned for history’s first flight.
