CURTISS-WRIGHT CORPORATION TO PRESENT AT REDCHIP PARTNERS INVESTOR CONFERENCE IN NEW YORK - SEPT. 19, 2002; STEVE FORBES, EDITOR-IN-CHIEF OF FORBES MAGAZINE, TO SPEAK

LYNDHURST, N.J., Sep 3, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Curtiss-Wright Corporation (NYSE:CW), which designs, manufactures and overhauls products for motion control and flow control applications as well as providing metal treatment services, will present at the RedChip Partners™ Investor Conference in New York on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002. The presentation, which is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. ET, will include a brief review of the company's past performance and a major emphasis on its future growth prospects.
The conference, which will be held at Grand Hyatt New York, begins with on-site registration at 8 a.m. Corporate presentations are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A schedule of corporate presentation times will be available on www.redchip.com before the conference. The keynote speaker will be Steve Forbes, president and chief executive officer of Forbes and editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine.
